Hartford Sweat & COVID-19
Welcome! We are committed to the safety and health of our clients and teachers with great passion. The studio remains open while we are monitoring news and guidance from health officials very closely to follow all recommendations and best practices. We strive to keep an impeccably clean studio always thanks to our karma team and staff, so we’ll keep doing that and add a few things to help our city and state’s containment efforts.
What we are doing (our standard but with some extra vigilance):
All of the studio staff is committed to maintaining a low risk and healthy environment in the studio. Any potential exposure, symptoms, regardless of verification, the teachers and staff will not come in - any changes in the schedule would be noted in the app, MindBody, and the “schedule” page in our web-site.
The entire studio is sanitized every day: The hard floors are steam cleaned, which is more effective than cleaners. Bathrooms, counters, showers are all disinfected every night. We are cleaning all common surfaces with disinfecting clorox wipes several times through the day. We continue to hot-wash the Bikram room floor frequently. Towels are always washed on the hottest water setting; mats washed & hang dry every use.
Every room has hand sanitizer and teachers are offering and asking everyone to use clorox wipes for props and weights. We’ll continue this until supplies are exhausted (we do have several weeks of back-stock)
What you can do
Follow all guidance from CDC and WHO and feel free to use sanitizer and wipes that we have made available and all our soaps are anti-bacterial, touch-less dispensers.
You may suspend your membership during this time, and we encourage you to do so if you have concerns for any reason. We request an email to info@hartfordsweat.net so that we make sure and have your name and email, and the duration you would like to suspend. We will implement the suspension and reply with a confirmation email. These can be performed quickly and a hold preserves remaining time and classes to use when we un-freeze the account hold, and all subsequent billing dates are moved the same amount. A reminder that account cancellations need up to 10-day notice to affect our automated billing.
Thank you!
While we get through this temporary and potentially historic time with you, we are putting plans together for an awesome summer, with this hopefully in the rear-view mirror. If you have concerns or suggestions, please let us know, as we are all in this together for a healthy Hartford!
